HONGKONGGGG.
hiongkong (according to how you're supposed to say it in cantonese) - where i spent the past 5days 4nights. alot of sightseeing on the 1st 3 days, followed by free & easy shopping along the streets of kowloon. had seafood, dimsum, buffet spreads, yummy dessert drinks.. spent qte a bit on bags and clothes as well. it was really chilly and dry there, not to mention smoky (old men, young working adults all puff away on their cigarettes like nobody's business). hk's transport system is somewhat like singapore. oh and the sky turns really dark by 630pm. although i missed home qte a bit, i'd say it was a nice family bonding trip.shall let the pictures do the talking:
this is my daddy & mummy holding hands, at changi airport. awwwww (:
we had a lot of time looking at duty-free goods cos our flight was delayed by 2hrs (my mum was like, wahpiang, SQ so lousy one ah)
on the plane to hk, my lil' sis & i - the nicest shot of us tgt, ever.
it was a particularly unpleasant flight for me, the contents in my stomach kept churning throughout, yucky feeling.
by the time we arrived in hk, the sky was dark alr so we took a spin in the coach to view the night scenery and retreated to the hotel. morning call at 6am the next day.
jackie chan lives somewhere on top of the mountain, our tour guide says. i wasnt used to seeing the cluttered apartments in hk. all the high-rise buildings seem to contain tiny flats, cos the windows look so tiny..
heh heh if you watch those period dramas on ch8 like return of the condor heroes then you'd be familiar with this.
ocean park - hk's famous tourist attraction in the form of a theme park.

look at the (i cant find a right adjective) jellyfish!!

look at the (i cant find a right adjective) jellyfish!!
i always wondered.. do they know where they're floating to?
gi-normous aquarium.
HMMMMM.
on the coach to the next destination - my sis emo-ing with ipod earphones stuck to her ears, mummy being the ever-attentive listener hooked on every word of the tour guide, my bro juuuuust sleep.
the air feels different in the magical kingdom of disneyland! as if something is waiting to happen at every instant. my siblings (i think my parents too!) & i were transported back to gd ol' childhood.
ehh, there got pretty girls meh?
the highly-anticipated disney parade! i thought this was a splendid shot of the can-can girls :D
the little mermaid!
snow white..
.. & the seven dwarfs!
THE big shots - mickey & minnie! (and goofy & donald & daisy) i couldnt help pouting when i didnt get a nice photo of donald duck cos his backside was facing me most of the time. haiyer.
later at night.. the magnificent light-up was a spectacular sight - waiting for fireworks.
when i left disneyland, a little wish creeped up in my mind: if only i could be a princess for one day, not any princess but a disney princess. cos at the end of it all there'd always a prince charming waiting for me to live happily ever after.. (:
disney's hollywood hotel! i think it was the most comfy hotel among the 3 hotels we stayed. at least i dint spook myself with silly thoughts in the shower. oh my sis & i had to share a bed. ahhwell, tgt with my bro the 3 of us had a gd time watching high school musical 2.
mmm. aft exploring the city of kowloon over the last 2 days with my daddy's expert map-reading skills, we concluded our trip to hk. the flight back was much more bearable.. i had a luxurious 10hr sleep last night.
met boyfriend for lunch tdy, felt qte bad that he had been so lonely. passed him the stuff i bought from hk, which mummy helped me to choose. haha the sweet guy accompanied me to shop for work shoes in town.. & speaking of work, i've to raid my mum's wardrobe for some presentable clothes to wear tmr.
15days to christmas. 6days to 20mths anniversary. (:
